About Chinese Food at Home

Learn the purpose, ownership, content principles, and current development status of Chinese Food at Home.

Purpose

Chinese Food at Home is a personal cooking website for people in Europe and North America who want practical Chinese recipes using ingredients they can realistically buy from supermarkets, Asian grocery stores, or common online retailers.

The first version is English-only. Chinese, Spanish, French, and German content are planned after the English structure is stable.

Ownership

The site is personally owned by a private individual and is not operated by a company. Public contact email: esseninnb@gmail.com.

The generated production metadata uses https://cnfoods.top as the canonical site URL. Hosting is currently documented as a provider or server in South Korea.

Current Status

The current website is an MVP with static recipe pages, a rule-based ingredient matcher, AI-generated project-owned food images, and browser-local community features for development.

Recipe text and images may be AI-assisted or AI-generated, then structured and reviewed for practical home-cooking use before publication.

This generated build keeps browser-local account, rating, and comment widgets disabled until a production backend is ready. Production community features should move to Supabase with email/password, Google, and GitHub authentication before real user data is collected.
